Designer Eyeglasses and Eye Care in Nassau County
Stylish Eyewear. Personalized Service. Expert Eye Care.
We opened Spectacular Eyewear because Nassau County deserved an optical shop that treats eyeglasses like they matter. Not a chain. Not a kiosk inside a department store. A real boutique where licensed opticians spend time with you, measure your face properly, and help you pick frames that actually fit your life.
We carry brands you won’t find at LensCrafters or Costco. Designers like Tom Davies, Oliver Peoples, Silhouette, and WOOW sit alongside independent makers from Italy, Denmark, and Japan. If you need petite eyeglasses that actually fit a smaller face, we have one of the largest petite frame selections on Long Island.
Our optometrists run full eye exams out of our Plainview office, including glaucoma screening, cataract evaluations, dry eye assessments, and myopia management for kids. We also handle contact lens fittings for dailies, multifocals, and specialty lenses.
Why Choose Spectacular Eyewear?
Frames You Won’t Find Anywhere Else We handpick boutique and independent frame designers from around the world. Brands like i.a. Eyeworks, Sospiri, and Vernon Gantry sit next to names like Tom Ford and Modo. Styles range from bold Italian acetates to featherweight titanium frames under 10 grams.
Thorough Eye Exams Our licensed optometrists run full vision and eye health exams at our Plainview office. That includes macular degeneration screening, astigmatism diagnosis, and digital retinal imaging. We check for what the 10-minute chain exams miss.
Opticians Who Take Their Time Our opticians don’t hand you a tray and walk away. They measure your face, ask about your daily routine, and walk you through progressive, single vision, blue light, and anti-reflective lens options until the fit is right.
Lenses Made to Your Prescription We work with top lens labs to craft lenses matched to your exact prescription, pupil distance, and frame choice. Our in-house lens work means faster turnaround and better quality control. See how we make your lenses.
Locally Owned on Woodbury Road We’re not a franchise. Spectacular Eyewear is a neighborhood optical boutique that has served Plainview, Woodbury, Syosset, Hicksville, and Bethpage for over 10 years.
